We’re so excited to have you join us in Orange County for our wedding! If you have some extra time, there are plenty of great spots to explore. Most of our guests will be staying in Gordonsville, a small town with a charming Main Street, while the wedding itself will take place in Orange, just a short drive away.
Gordonsville’s Main Street is especially beautiful in December, with festive Christmas lights and window displays that make it feel extra special this time of year. It’s a great place for a stroll, whether you want to shop or just take in the small-town charm.
East of Maui – Our favorite breakfast spot, perfect for a fresh bagel and a good cup of coffee. They also have a coffee hut location in the town of Orange if you need a caffeine fix on the go.

Well Hung Vineyard – A fun place to grab a glass of wine and some really good food. It’s a great spot to relax and catch up with friends.

Local Shops – Main Street is full of unique boutiques and antique stores, perfect for browsing if you have some extra time.
Orange also has a great Main Street with small shops to explore. Just off the main road, you’ll find Darnell’s Garden Patch, where Elizabeth's team will be busy making handmade wreaths and hosting a holiday market. If you’re looking for a good meal, Main Street Tavern and Forked on Main are both great choices.

Just outside of town, Barboursville Vineyards is one of Virginia’s best wineries, offering incredible views of the rolling hills of Orange County. It’s a great place to enjoy a tasting and take in the scenery.
If you have time for a little sightseeing, Montpelier, the historic home of James Madison, is also worth a visit.
